Hi! I’m Destiny, and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor serving clients in the states of GA and FL. I specifically work with people who have chronic illnesses and are struggling with the ramifications of adverse childhood experiences, medical trauma, medical gaslighting, and confusion around all of the different holistic treatments out there promising a cure that has not yet come for you.

As someone with personal experience living with chronic pain and illness, I know what it’s like to feel like you’re trying everything, doing everything right, and seemingly getting nowhere.

If you’ve ever been told “your labs are completely normal” or “there’s nothing wrong with you” but you’re in constant pain and discomfort, you’ve come to the right place.

My main work is with those who experience hard-to-diagnose health issues and syndromes. Things like gastrointestinal problems, arthritic pain, back pain and other bodily aches, and genetic disorders are all within my wheelhouse. We work on things like coping with pain, increasing energy, managing stress, building healthier relationships (with romantic partners, friends, and healthcare professionals), and healing childhood emotional wounds.

How I show up with clients stems not only from my lived experience but also from my decade of training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I am also trained in Year 2 of Somatic Experiencing, which means that I believe trauma is a whole-body experience, not a negative thinking issue.
